Hours  Dayshift – Monday to Friday | 6am - Finish, 5 out of 7 days a week.    Job Purpose We are currently searching for Skilled Operatives to join our injection team in the Bacon Factory. This is a skilled role that require training and advanced skills. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to develop their career in one of the fastest growing food manufactures in the UK.  You will be a key player in preparing a range of products that meet both customer and company standards specifications and requirements. Engineering Shift Team Lead

Job Purpose The Team Lead will be reporting and working closely with the Engineering Manager to plan and schedule Engineering Shift resources to ensure that the processing equipment is kept in full working order, liaising with the Production Team to ensure job requests are promptly actioned. The Team Lead will have accountability for the shift’s engineering workload, prioritisation, and direction of the workload to ensure that pro-active maintenance is completed, ensure that all Engineering works meet and exceed site Health & Safety requirements – use of Permit to Work, appropriate PPE, machinery isolation using Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO). The successful applicant will be required to work within the existing Eng. Team shift rota (including nightshift) and have a flexible attitude to hours due to the nature of the works and access to equipment which may be over weekends.   What it takes The successful candidate will have completed a Time Served Apprenticeship with a relevant Engineering qualification, previous proven experience of managing, leading, and supporting a Team is preferable. Ability to work under pressure and respond to regularly changing demands , must possess good communication skills with a willingness to deliver optimum results by creating a can-do attitude through motivating & encouraging the Shift Team. Relevant experience within a high volume, highly automated manufacturing environment. Job Purpose Maintenance Engineer | Multi-skilled  As a maintenance Engineer you will be an essential member in keeping production running in a fast-paced environment. You will report to the Site Maintenance Manager and be part of a team operating a continental shift pattern. You will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. This will be a reactive and a proactive maintenance role, working to and carrying out the monthly PPM work. As a maintenance engineer, you will also be responsible for the installation of new plant and machinery. You will have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules. Compile and present H,S&E and business objective compliance reports where necessary. Support the maintenance and attainment of all relevant management system accreditations.  Promote and raise awareness of the impact of emerging H,S&E issues. Implement best practices in areas of sustainability, ethical and social responsibility and address any issues arising. Support the maintenance and development of H,S&E policies and procedures including integrated standard and emergency operating procedures. Ensure compliance for site is maintained in line with all relevant organisational requirements including Legionella, Waste, Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER), DSEAR, Accident/Near Miss investigation and RIDDOR reporting. Ensure that H&S training is kept up to date with legal, business and client requirements. Ensure that workplace inspections and risk assessments are carried out and reviewed annually or sooner should there be a significant change to render the current risk assessment void. Provide support for specific risk assessments on pregnant colleagues, VDUs, stress, manual handling, fire, noise and COSHH. Support the development and implementation of employee and management training programs. Support the continual improvement of all business functions where necessary. Assist the H,S&E group in all department functions where necessary. What it takes   Essential   Professional Health and Safety Qualification. Significant experience in a similar or supporting post. Detailed understanding of relevant legislation. Enthusiastic, self-motivated, pro-active, collaborative and forward-thinking. Job Purpose You will play a vital role within the production site demonstrating key leadership skills to develop and manage a team of production and machine operatives. You will have accountability for delivering some of the most innovative food products on the market in line with the quality standards that Finnebrogue Artisan has been renowned for. Working with a daily production plan you will have full autonomy and responsibility for production outputs including labour and material. Shift Pattern Dayshift - 7am to between 3-6pm, 5 out of 7 days Job Purpose Located in the new, state of the art Plant Based factory, Finnebrogue Artisan is a market leader and supplies a host of UK retailers including Marks and Spencer, Asda, Waitrose and Aldi. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring all food safety checks are completed in real time and without mistake, whilst maintaining brand integrity of your area. Student Recruitment - Feeding our Future

The Opportunity Students will be an integral part in the creation of artisanal products for a number of Finnebrogue’s key customers. Working within the production team, students will get the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new friends and get that all important work experience. We have informative sessions which parents are also encouraged to attend and they consist of;  The Tour The first part of the evening will consist of a tour of the impressive viewing gallery at Finnebrogue Artisan, providing an insight to the history and future plans of the company and a view of the state of the art factory and equipment. The Presentation This will be followed by refreshments and a presentation delivered by the recruitment and production team which will provide attendees with more information on the summer artisanal roles, as well as the wider career opportunities and pathways available at Finnebrogue Artisan. Meet the Team Students and parents will gain more detail and ask questions on further areas such as rate of pay, expectations and how this experience will support their career in the form of UCAS application or the other options that Finnebrogue as an employer can offer. Interview Interviews will be held on the night, offering students the opportunity to discuss their academic experience, hobbies and any relevant work experience they main have gained. Job Purpose Working within the engineering team the successful candidate will oversee operation and perform administrative duties to maintain a smooth workflow. You will be the key point of contact for external contractors and will have the responsibility of ensuring all records are kept up to date. You will effectively and efficiently process in house and contractor work orders, plan and coordinate in house and contractor workload, collate paperwork, maintain the CMMS system and check worksheets and invoices.   The scope of the role will also include some selective material purchasing What it takes This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has excellent communication and organisational skills, an outgoing and assertive manner and someone who can work both independently and also integrate as part of a wider team .  The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong multitasking capabilities.  Ideally have a background in an engineering or construction field, preferably with office experience and have a working knowledge of using Purchase Ordering and maintenance management software.  This role will require someone to have sound Microsoft Excel Skills. Production Planner

Job Purpose As the Production Planner you will be responsible for the delivery of production plans for all products which will meet both customer requirements and stock target levels. This is an exciting role for a driven and motivated individual to join Finnebrogue, a market leader in food manufacturing. You will be responsible for the development of hourly, daily and weekly production schedules for all products which is optimised to account for labour utilisation & minimising impact of changeovers. You will be responsible for issuing an inclusive production schedule which accounts for Planned Preventative Maintenance, any NPD trials, and any prioritisation of products based on the up to date production plan and real-time customer orders. You will be responsible for calling off required raw materials and tertiary packaging items based on production plan whilst adhering to internal stock control policy. A key part of the role will be to align production and demand based on agreed SLA rules and to communicate production plans to the management team of the sausage site. What it takes The successful candidate will have relevant knowledge within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have proficient numerical ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data and computer skills. They will be highly proficient in the use of MS office tools in particular excel. Project Engineer

Its restless drive for innovation has been the cornerstone of our success, with turnover growing from a £50M business to a £180M business in the past 5 years.   Job Purpose Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, Prepare, schedule and co-ordinate the assigned Engineering & Equipment projects. In consultation with Production & Engineering to agree all project scheduling., Monitor compliance with all relevant standards and specifications. To provide project costings within an agreed budget, Undertake overall control of the project work budget, scheduling, and status.     To co-ordinate all project elements, All elements of the project design, Co-operate and communicate effectively with the Head of Engineering and other project stakeholders to provide assistance and technical support. That installation works are conducted in compliance with Company H & S regulations and Permit to Work controls are in place onsite, All equipment commissioning on-site is conducted in accordance with agreed schedules.     Ability to react promptly and effectively to changing business & production needs. Assign responsibilities and communicate effectively. Co-ordinating & communicating project updates to all the relevant Departments. Liaise with OEM Suppliers and Contractors Review the project deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective action.
