Senior Probate Case Manager

Location: Bristol/Cardiff Contract: Permanent, Full Time Hours: 37.5 hours per week NewLaw Solicitors is in an exciting growth phase, and we're seeking a passionate Senior Probate Case Manager to join our renowned Probate Team. If you're dedicated and ready to make a significant impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you! As a Senior Probate Case Manager, you'll play a crucial role in our Private Client Team, and you’ll manage a diverse caseload with minimal supervision, handle complex intestacies, lifetime and discretionary trusts, and oversee estate property sales and transfers. Your key tasks will be: Managing Probate Cases: Handle a mix of grant-only and estate administration cases independently. Legal Document Preparation: Draft high-quality legal documents with precision and accuracy. Client Interaction: Provide expert legal advice and regular updates to clients using various communication methods. Compliance and Efficiency: Utilise our case management system to ensure timely and compliant case progression. Training and Support: Mentor junior team members and maintain high standards within the Probate Team. About you Qualifications: A minimum of three years' experience in estate administration as a Law Graduate, Solicitor, CILEX, or TEP. Knowledge: Strong background in private client work and a commitment to staying updated with legal developments. Skills: Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to build strong client relationships and handle confidential information with discretion. Experience: Proven ability to draft and prepare legal documents to a high standard and manage probate cases efficiently using a case management system. Case Manager

Location: Cardiff, with hybrid working following completion of probation. FNOL Claims Handler

Location: Cardiff, with potential for hybrid working Hours: 37.5 Hours working between 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday Are you looking for a role where you want to make a difference to others and help those in need? Well look no further I have just the perfect role for you! As an FNOL (First Notification of Loss) Claims Handler you'll be the reassuring voice our clients hear when they need us the most, right after an accident. Your role is at the heart of the claims team, as you're the first point of contact for callers in distress. You’ll be responsible for gathering and documenting accurate information about the accident, assessing liability, instructing recoveries where necessary and ensuring that the appropriate policy coverage applies. Your calm, professional, and friendly telephone manner will be key in helping our clients feel supported and confident as you guide them through the initial steps of their claims journey. Following comprehensive training, you'll join a close-knit FNOL team, where you'll begin taking calls and setting up new claims. As you gain experience, you'll also advise clients on additional services and benefits available during the claims process. We are committed to your ongoing development, offering continuous training to keep you up to date with the latest policies and procedures.
