We have an exciting opportunity for a highly talented Logistics Manager.  Taking responsibility for all 3<sup>rd</sup> Party Logistics Providers, Import/ Export operations & Warehousing, you will own our end-to-end material and product flow.

From inbound product & material to delivery to our global customer base. Working within our complex, global supply chain, you will provide for delivery to very short lead-times, while minimising waste and maximising sales opportunities in a time-critical industry. Where others see roadblocks, you will see opportunity. You will be relentless in your drive to improve and develop the way we work.

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Manage Logistics team including warehousing.
  • Lead your team to exceed stakeholder expectations and instil a ‘customer first’ culture.
  • Develop relationship with our Logistics Providers & Consultants to maximise value.
  • Develop an efficient fulfilment model, meeting customer requirements and reducing waste in our processes.
  • Ensure compliance to H&S requirements.
  • Work with various cross functional teams on projects such as new product launches, product discontinuations & Changes.
  • Management of complex global Export & Import requirements.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies in our process and fix the route cause.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly reports – Inventory, Delivery performance, customer complaints.
  • Own Export/ Import compliance including our Approved Economic Operator (AEO) status.

You need to be an have experience of leading and developing talent, excellent communication skills, be solution focused, and data driven.

You will have:

  • Degree qualified or substantial relevant experience
  • Knowledge/Experience of global logistics
  • Experience working in Manufacturing
  • Understanding of processes, issues and industry practice in demand & availability planning
  • Exceptional analytical skills when managing complexity and multiple variables
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Able to operate and make the right decisions at pace
  • Able to lead and inspire a team
  • Able to manage and prioritise multiple assignments at any one time, delivering high quality work that meets agreed commitments
