We have an exciting opportunity for a highly talented Logistics Manager to be responsible for all 3<sup>rd</sup> Party Logistics Providers, Import/ Export operations & Warehousing. You will own our end to end material and product flow, from inbound product & material to delivery to our global customer base. Working within our complex, global supply chain, you will provide for delivery to very short lead-times, while minimising waste and maximising sales opportunities in a time-critical industry. Where others see roadblocks, you will see opportunity. You will be relentless in your drive to improve and develop the way we work.

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Manage Logistics team including warehousing.
  • Lead your team to exceed stakeholder expectations and instil a ‘customer first’ culture.
  • Develop relationship with our Logistics Providers & Consultants to maximise value.
  • Develop an efficient fulfilment model, meeting customer requirements and reducing waste in our processes.
  • Ensure compliance to H&S requirements.
  • Work with various cross functional teams on projects such as new product launches, product discontinuations & Changes.
  • Management of complex global Export & Import requirements.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies in our process and fix the route cause.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly reports – Inventory, Delivery performance, customer complaints.
  • Own Export/ Import compliance including our Approved Economic Operator (AEO) status.

You will have:

  • Degree qualified or substantial relevant experience
  • Knowledge/Experience of global logistics
  • Experience working in Manufacturing
  • Understanding of processes, issues and industry practice in demand & availability planning
  • Exceptional analytical skills when managing complexity and multiple variables
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Able to operate and make the right decisions at pace
  • Able to lead and inspire a team
  • Able to manage and prioritise multiple assignments at any one time, delivering high quality work that meets agreed commitments
