The Short Stay School for Norfolk is a single countywide institution which meets the needs of a diverse cohort of vulnerable and challenging young people from 9 physical locations. The majority of our young people have been permanently excluded from school and are preparing for an onward transition to their new school or specialist provision.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic person with high standards and an eye for detail to the role of MDSA. They must be able to manage their own workload and also be a good communicator to liaise with staff professionally. The successful candidate will be a team player, hardworking, responsible, flexible, reliable and honest. A basic knowledge in health and safety requirements in a working/educational environment would also be advantageous.
The role will include serving hot and cold school lunches in line with Food Standards Agency regulations. Ensuring we comply with health and safety regulations, and with school procedures. Clearing away afterwards and carrying out full cleaning duties of the servery and dining areas.
