This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop our new Haywards Health campus, which opens in September 2020. The College will deliver a range of
A Levels, Advanced General courses and apprenticeships at our fantastic site, close to the town centre.
Reporting to the Principal, you will support a new team to deliver an outstanding provision to learners. Your role will be to ensure the continuing development of the Group’s strategy relating to A Levels, Adults, Enterprise, Higher Education, Apprenticeships and all curriculum areas which lead to student success.
You will have proven experience of operating at a management level within a Further Education College, as well as the ability to manage change, problem solve and collaborate with external bodies. Your excellent leadership and management skills will be matched with a passion for delivering outstanding learning. You will be a qualified teacher (i.e. Cert Ed or PGCE), have current knowledge of the FE sector, together with practical knowledge of students and curriculum delivery, equality, diversity and inclusion, safeguarding obligations and health and safety relating to staff.
As a member of the Senior Management Team at Haywards Heath, and a member of the Group’s College Management Team, you will be involved in a mixture of both college specific and Group wide projects and initiatives, representing the College at external meetings, when necessary.
