Great Yarmouth Charter Academy is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and responsible higher level teaching assistant with a focus on Physical and sensory needs to support our pupils across the school. This role will involve supporting a small group of pupils who are struggling to access mainstream curriculum and supporting the teacher in delivering a modified support curriculum for them.
The successful candidate will have the ability to prioritise and work consistently using their own initiative, high levels of resilience and good humour, and clear and sensitive communication skills.
You will be part of a team with an unconditional positive regard for young people. Over the last two rounds of pupil admissions at year 7 we are now oversubscribed with first choice pupils. Our job adverts are linked to this growth and our desire to support pupils from our community.
