Milton Keynes College Prison Services Team at HMP Long Lartin are seeking innovative Teachers/Tutors to deliver to a diverse group of learners, helping to build their confidence, develop their skills and achieve within a college environment. The College are looking for candidates interested in variable hours, on an ad-hoc basis, who are keen to explore Prison Education.

HMP Long Lartin are currently looking for individuals with one or more of the below skillsets to support their curriculum delivery.

  • Functional Skills English Entry to Level 2
  • Functional Skills Maths Entry to Level 2
  • Music Technology – Level 1 & Level 2 
  • Industrial Cleaning – Level 1 Practical Cleaning & Level 2 Cleaning Principles
  • Personal Social Development (PSD)

A teaching qualification would be desirable, however those willing to work towards a teaching qualification who hold supporting subject specialism or industry experience would also be considered - we can provide the training to help you achieve your full potential.
