We are seeking a Digital Delivery Manager to join the temporary project team working on the Glastonbury Project.

The Glastonbury Archive at the V&A, founded in 2014, spans the fifty-year history of the festival, largely remembered, recorded and interpreted through a sequence of events from rock and pop to theatre and circus performances, to speeches and site-specific installations.

AHRC X V&A: Glastonbury @50 – Mapping and Visualising Festival Culture is a research project funded by the AHRC that will go live to the public in June 2021. This project involves the creation of a new online resource with events data from the last 50 years of the Glastonbury Festival and an accompanying public engagement programme.

The project will also include a series of public engagement events to celebrate Glastonbury Festival’s 50th anniversary, inspired by Glastonbury’s past, present and future, alongside a one-day conference investigating the impact and legacy of Glastonbury and its contribution to wider festival culture.

The Digital Delivery Manager will work as part of a small temporary project team with the Project Lead, the Glastonbury Project Manager and the Glastonbury Research and Materials Assistant, and alongside V&A digital and IT teams, and will work closely with the appointed digital agency.

Closing date for receipt of applications is 29 November 2020 at 23.59.

Please note this role open to both internal and external candidates. For internal applicants, salaries are open to variation depending on contractual terms and preference will be given to any employee currently at risk of redundancy.
