The Email Marketing Manager is responsible for defining, planning, and executing the V&A’s Audience Engagement Strategy through the email channel. This role is central in helping the organisation achieve its strategic objectives regarding customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue generation.

The Email Marketing Manager works closely with various internal stakeholders to identify marketing needs and opportunities and promote the V&A’s brand, public programme, and commercial offer. They will be responsible for developing the distinct editorial voice and visual identity of our newsletters, always making sure our subscribers receive relevant, captivating communications. In parallel, they will look for engaging ways to attract new and diverse audiences to the V&A’s family of sites, facilitating access to our collections and exhibitions. 

This role combines creative and strategic thinking for delivering content that resonates with email audiences, with a data-driven and analytical approach which ensures the continuous optimisation of email performance in alignment with the wider strategic objectives.

Hours: Net working hours (i.e. excluding meal breaks) are 36 per week.

Normal working hours are 9am-5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 9am-5pm Fridays.
