In the above role you’ll provide overnight waking cover as required by the service. You’ll be responsible where identified, for providing first contact and safeguarding our clients at night including dealing with emergencies. You’ll also carry out regular health and safety checks on patrol and through monitoring the CCTV system. Responsibility for maintaining a full and accurate log of events and reporting on incidents and any maintenance issues will also be required of you.
You should have a good level of numeracy and literacy skills; in order to produce incident reports and the ability to use your initiative; to identify the appropriate action to take in various situations. You’ll also be expected to be punctual, awake and alert at all times during your shift and act with integrity.
Flexibility is required, as you’ll be working a shift rota that includes weekends and public holidays.
