Care Centre Manager Dunfermline
St Philip's Care is currently looking to recruit an experienced Home Manager with a proactive leadership style. Passionate about person centred care .The home provides nursing care which includes a service to older people with dementia and people who may have physical disabilities.
About the role
- Leading and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, we will look to you to promote and lead outstanding, personalised care to the individuals who we provide care
- You will share our passion for putting the needs and wellbeing of our residents first, finding new ways to enrich our resident’s lives within our home and delivering outstanding customer care for them and their relatives
- You will manage all aspects of our home, including identifying new business opportunities, effectively managing budgets, taking responsibility for the operating profit of the home, and ensuring regulatory and quality compliance is maintained across all relevant areas
- Creating and developing strong internal and external relationships.
- As part of your role, you will be required to provide an “on Call “ support and occasionally be required to work evening and weekends
Who we’re looking for
- Strong clinical/care knowledge and expertise, plus an LMCS , RMA or equivalent management qualification would be desirable
- You may have a level one Registered Nurse qualification together with previous experience of improving and maintaining regulatory
- You will know how to make a positive difference within a heavily regulated sector, as you’ll have a commercial acumen and quality indicators
- The ability to develop an environment which focuses on continuous improvements
- An effective communicator, with a confident and influential leadership style.

Situated in the centre of Dunfermline with good rail and bus links to major towns and cities in the area.
For the last 20 years Leys Park has been dedicated to the care of older people. Set in large grounds, Leys Park has an enclosed garden with an area specifically designed for the home by the Prince’s Trust.
The 64 bedded home has a unit specialising in dementia care, a separate unit focusing on the care of frail older people and a residential unit .The home is currently undergoing refurbishment with the aim to provide a cosy and comfortable home.
