Learning Support Assistant
Salary: Scale D, £16,466 - £16,795 per annum (£19,312 - £19,698 FTE)
Part time, 34.5 hours per week
Term time plus 1 week
Starting September 2020 


We have an exciting opportunity for a learning support assistant to join our committed and hardworking team at Hethersett Academy. 

The role involves working in one-to-one situations and leading small groups as well as supporting the teacher in whole class lessons. You should be able to work effectively as part of a team, following the direction of the teachers as well as working under your own initiative when necessary.

You will be an inspirational practitioner who is passionate about raising achievement through motivating and inspiring students, who will also contribute to the vision and values of the school. You’ll have a minimum of GCSE grade C for English and maths or equivalent. Experience of working with students with special educational needs would be of benefit, although training will be provided as necessary.

We are part of the Inspiration Trust, twice ranked as the country’s top family of comprehensive schools for pupil progress to GCSE, and work closely with our fellow schools across the region.
