An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Marketing Department as Digital Marketing Manager with responsibility for planning, managing and optimising Lloyd Motor Group’s digital channels.

Working within the Marketing team, you’ll be responsible for driving digital growth as we look to continue growing our business.

You’ll help build brand and product awareness to build traffic and drive visits to our main websites, microsites and social media pages. You’ll also help maximise our reach to create and grow multiple interactions using different paid, owned and earned media touchpoints.

You’ll be passionate about improving user experiences on all digital channels with a focus on content, buyer stages and long-term engagement across the customer lifecycle.

You will work closely with all colleagues in the marketing team as well as sales, data, design and software development teams.

You will be comfortable sharing knowledge and presenting to small or large teams across all stakeholders within our business.

Lloyd Motor Group is one of the UK’s leading independent premium automotive groups serving Cumbria, the North East, Lancashire, North Yorkshire and the South of Scotland.

The Group has twenty-two retail centres and five state-of-the-art Bodyshops operating across the North of England and South Scotland, representing global brands including BMW, MINI, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo, Kia, Honda Motorcycles and BMW Motorrad.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that Lloyd Motor Group customers are at the heart of our thinking and strategy.
  2. Act as a primary point of contact for all main websites, microsites and social media pages.
  3. Grow interactions across all digital channels and touchpoints from paid, owned and earned media to generate leads.
  4. Assess the effectiveness of campaigns and manage online budgets.
  5. Plan and implement integrated marketing campaigns from initial concept, through to completion.
  6. Analyse and optimise traffic and visits from all buyer stages across both online and offline channels.
  7. Work closely with third party suppliers and agencies to support Lloyd Motor Group’s digital strategy.
  8. Plan, implement and manage the overall search and content strategy for all main websites.
  9. Develop and hone expertise across digital channels, helping develop skills across the business
  10. Provide accurate reports and analysis to demonstrate effective ROI and to suggest business improvements.
  11. Continual awareness of competitor activity to ensure understanding of the market and the ability to make recommendations to help make improvements.
  12. Actively participate in a high performing, engaged team – championing teamwork and contributing to team tasks.
  13. Keep up to date with the latest technology and digital marketing trends.

Qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant university degree or equivalent is desirable.
  • You will have over five years of experience as a Marketer with a proven track record.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to listen and influence well, building effective working relationships through personal credibility, expertise and impact.
  • You will know SEM best practices and have a track record in driving search results.
  • You will have experience in Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Facebook Business and CMS.
  • You will have experience working with agencies, third party suppliers, software developers and web technologies.
  • You will demonstrate an urgent, positive attitude and a growth mindset, critical for succeeding in the role.
  • You will have a passion for excellence, innovation and creativity. You will be hands-on, decisive, take ownership and effect change.
  • You will demonstrate the ability to delegate accordingly to allow time to research, plan strategies and tactics, measure and improve performance.
  • You will be a team player, collaborative in style, dynamic and enthusiastic.
  • You’ll demonstrate keen commercial awareness, with a focus on measuring ROI.
  • You will be comfortable working in a demanding, commercial environment.
