A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Female Security Officer for the educational sector, who will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users throughout all Campuses of University of Westminster. A female is required to assist with students and searches.

INFORMATION

• Position: Security Response Officer
• Location: Central London – All Campuses of the University
• Pay Rate: £10.55 per hour
• Hours: Average 40 hours per week – term time hours only - Zero hours during June - September
• Shifts: Various days, nights & weekends

Job Role / Requirements:

• SIA Door Supervisor Licence required
• Security Experience is required – ideally in the educational sector
• Must have good command of English Language
• Excellent communication both written & verbal
• Excellent levels of customer service at all times
• Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
• This position involves internal and external patrolling throughout the shift.

Job Role

• Availability days, nights, weekends. Able to work variation of shift lengths and be available at short notice as and when called upon.
• To maintain effective communication with the Campus Security Supervisor on a daily and weekly basis through handover and reporting of faults.
• ALL site related, welfare related and administrative matters to be referred to the Security Supervisor in the first instance.
• Be proactive and flexible in managing workload and responsibilities.
• Maintain housekeeping of site, Daily audit and key checks to be carried out, Daily audit of CCTV and security equipment to be carried out, Weekly Fire, Panic and Lift checks, ensuring that the entries in the Daily Occurrence logbook are accurate and that the logbook has been filled in correctly.
• Site procedures as per Assignment Instructions to be adhered to without fail. Communicate and inform the Campus Security Supervisor if this is not possible.
• Support the Campus Security Supervisor in reporting of site related H&S issues.
• Reception Duties, Access Control Duties, Administrative Tasks, Incident Report Writing
