From V&A’s Exhibition Road Quarter in London to V&A Museum of Design Dundee, the V&A is at one of the most exciting points in its history.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Assistant Registrar to join the Exhibitions and Loans team. The successful applicant will manage the museum’s large long-term loans-in programme, short-term loans to gallery displays and the transport of international acquisitions working closely with colleagues and external stakeholders to initiate and co-ordinate the arrangements required for each project.

It is essential that your previous experience is as a registrar or that you have operated within an exhibition or curatorial team. You will demonstrate project management skills and successfully deliver to tight deadlines.  A confident communicator with the ability to negotiate and navigate complex situations, you will be innovative and will be a strong problem solver.  Knowledge of collections management procedures relating to due diligence, Government Indemnity Scheme, UK Customs and import and export procedures in a museum or gallery context and fine art insurance is key.
