Based at Johnstone Town Hall, Paisley Town Hall and Tweedie Hall but with a requirement to work across any of our Renfrewshire venues.

Renfrewshire Leisure in addition to sports and leisure centres, operates a number of cultural venues across Renfrewshire which host a variety of performances, conferences, weddings and other events. To support the fantastic programme of events we deliver, we are looking to expand our Operations Team.

We are looking for individuals, who are committed to providing an excellent customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining our venues to a high standard of cleanliness and ensuring rooms are set to exceed the expectations of our customers. Your duties will include; key holder responsibility, intruder and fire alarm setting and monitoring, setting up of rooms for hire including modular and mechanical seating and staging, setting up of audio visual equipment, delivery of food and beverage and porterage duties.

It is essential that you have janitorial or caretaking experience, including room set up and cleaning, preferably within a commercial venue hire environment. A working knowledge of health and safety regulations and requirements within public buildings is also essential.

To join our team, you must be able to demonstrate a friendly and helpful personality and be comfortable dealing with the public. You must be a good team player with a flexible, “can do” approach to work. Successful candidates must be able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.

The salary for this post is subject to review.

Renfrewshire Leisure supports payment of the Living Wage of £8.33 per hour as the minimum level of remuneration to its employees . Therefore, successful applicants will be paid the ‘Living Wage’ - (the Hourly Rate for the post + a Living Wage Pay Supplement, in order to bring their earnings to £8.33 per hour).
