Childcare Assistant

£18,327.21 - £19,096 per annum               

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work at First Steps Childcare in our Worthing nursery. With outstanding facilities available to you on campus, including a coffee shop, restaurant and on-site parking, Worthing College is a truly enjoyable place to work. The nursery benefits from easy access to local shops, an on-site Forest School area, 18 acres of parkland and a nature trail so it’s not hard to see why the nursery can often boast a waiting list for childcare places!

Working with young babies through to children ready to start school, you will share your love for learning and make a real difference in children’s development and learning journeys. Together with our dedicated team, you will be a part of ensuring the children are learning, socialising, exploring and having fun.

With a recognised Level 2 and/or Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Early Years, Care and Education, you will be enthusiastic, organised and flexible with previous experience of working in a childcare setting.  Though not essential, a First Aid certificate would be desirable.
