Job Title:                  Development Officer

Location:                  Renton, West Dunbartonshire (with occasional travel to Tayside)

Hours:                      35 hours per week Monday to Friday

Salary band:             £31,488 - £35,885 (plus Essential Car User Allowance of £990 per annum)

We are on our way to meeting our ambitious plans to build 1,000 new affordable homes across Scotland by 2022. We are looking  for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to fill the post of Development Officer to help us deliver this exciting development programme.

You will assist with the procurement and project management of the Association’s new build development and regeneration programme ensuring delivery of projects on time, within budget and to agreed success criteria. You will ensure that there is a systematic and accountable approach to your projects that will achieve the most cost effective solution, whilst maintaining the quality of our assets and services.

An excellent communicator, you will be well organised and have the ability to work on several projects simultaneously as well as liaise closely with key stakeholders and other departments directly affected by the works. Ideally you will bring experience of managing projects and have experience in the maintenance of social housing. You may also have a technical qualification. You will ensure that the Association follows the appropriate legislation including current Health & Safety legislation.  You will also have  excellent IT skills and have access to your own car as travel within West Dunbartonshire, Tayside and across Scotland is required for this post.
