We are looking for a skilled, dynamic and motivated Project Manager who has a passion for achieving excellence and the ability to work alongside senior managers in driving change for children and young people in Barnet. If this is you, you could be the person we are looking for! The Project Manager - Service Improvement, is responsible for working alongside Senior Managers in Children's Services' to support the delivery of improvement activity. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of working in a children's early help and/or social care environment; we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and will get things done.
You will have:
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies and be able to apply them to the real life without too much jargon,
- Excellent written and oral communication skills,
- Great organisation skills and be able to work on multiple work streams at any one time
- The ability to identify and assess risks and issues finding mitigating strategies to reduce them, and finally,
- Proven experience in demonstrating your impact on delivering outcomes on budget and more importantly on time
