We have a fantastic opportunity for an Ecommerce & Corporate Trading Assistant to join our brand new Chatsworth warehouse facility in Bakewell.

Through our values of ‘always improving, decency and being inclusive’, this newly created role will be a crucial part of our Ecommerce & Corporate Gifting team, supporting various functions including product management, launches, reporting, customer service, and administration.

Collaborating closely with the Ecommerce & Corporate Trading Manager, you'll ensure the smooth operation of our online retail platform and deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Staying updated on competitor trends and suggesting optimizations for user experience.
  • Monitoring web analytics and contributing to performance reports.
  • Managing product setup on our PIM system and our ecommerce platform – Shopify.
  • Writing and formatting product descriptions
  • Managing day-to-day product updates, including inventory updates and pricing adjustments.
  • Ensuring products are featured in the correct collections, creating new collections if necessary and merchandising them effectively.
  • Working cross functionally with the eCommerce Manager, buyers, marketing and operations to ensure successful & timely product launches.
  • Providing exceptional customer service via phone and email to website customers, corporate clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Managing orders, including resending, refunding, tracking, and providing invoicing as needed.
  • Communicating regularly with operational teams to address customer service and product queries.
  • Coordinating stock transfers and adjustments between ecommerce and other Chatsworth outlets.
  • Organizing orders fulfilled by dropship suppliers.
  • Overseeing order fulfilment software, identifying errors and opportunities for optimization

Hours

This is a permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with the possibility of a weekend day over Christmas or during peak trading.

We can offer hybrid working with part of the week working at our warehouse in Bakewell, Derbyshire with flexibility to work remotely (for 1 or 2 days) if this suits your circumstances. However, during peak periods (e.g. Christmas) 5 days in the office may be required.

About you

We are looking for someone who is comfortable with data and has an understanding of an ecommerce business, which you may have gained in a similar role.

You must be proactive and resilient with exceptional attention to detail and have some experience in ecommerce copywriting.

You will have familiarity with the Shopify or Eureka platform and have proficiency in Microsoft Office, along with super administrative skills.
