Attendance Officer

Salary: Scale F £19,484 - £21,511 (£22,183 - £24,491 full time equivalent)

Permanent

Hour of Work 37 hours per week, term time plus two weeks

Starting - As soon as possible

 

We are seeking a reliable, proactive and efficient Attendance Officer to join the team at The Hewett Academy.

 

You will help our students achieve success by working with students, families, staff and other agencies to support and intervene with student attendance.

 

The role includes running our daily attendance monitoring processes, advising on development of the whole school approach to attendance, and some individual casework with students and families in need of support. The role is fast-paced and demanding but also incredibly rewarding as you will be having a direct impact on the outcomes achieved by our students.

 

Experience of working in a similar role would be beneficial. You will be required to provide administrative and clerical support services to a high standard, supporting

management, teachers, and students in an efficient, professional, and effective manner. This will involve organising and attending meetings with parents, School Attendance Panel and Fast Track Panel meetings as required and liaising with the Norfolk County Council attendance team on a regular basis.

 

You will have excellent organisational skills and confidence in communicating with a range of

different stakeholders, including students and parents.
