Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Coaching, mentoring, providing training and development
  • Management of our Logistics Providers and Consultants (Including Contracts and operational Agreements)
  • To lead multi-site global distribution centres
  • Optimising warehouse (people, processes & facility) through lean deployment to maximise efficiency and assess departmental skill sets required and appropriate process automation where required.
  • Promote and actively manage a safe working environment, ensuring all tasks are conducted according to requirements.
  • Develop a high-performance culture where processes are optimised and team members are guided to deliver targeted performance and achieve their potential.
  • Monitor commercial and operations activities to recognise and understand the impacts of the functional area and adapt the logistics network to respond to changing needs.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Experience in developing and implementing logistics strategies 
  • Strong Customer/Vendor Service Relations Skills (Internal and External)
  • Experience in lean principles and continuous improvements
