Fixed Term Contract for 24 months

Who we are
London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) is the organisation that the Mayor of London has set up to drive the regeneration of the area of east London around Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
This means that we do many different things, from building new homes, schools, universities, cultural institutions and business premises; to managing a beautiful Park and fantastic sporting venues; to running community events and sports programmes.
To do all this we work with our wider family and use our shared resources across our group. Your role will therefore be central to our mission as an organisation as well as the other group organisations.
We are making Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the vibrant communities surrounding into an attractive and inspiring place where people come together to achieve great things; a place where local talent is celebrated and the benefits of regeneration can be shared by all; and a place that attracts investment, improving local lives as well as driving national economic growth.
More than 34 million people have visited Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park since it reopened after the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. An additional 40,000 jobs are expected to be created on the park by 2025, plus 33,000 new homes in the wider Stratford area by 2036.
The London Legacy Development Corporation is also entering an exciting period with the construction of the East Bank project – a new powerhouse of culture, education, innovation and growth – which will create sites at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for Sadler’s Wells, BBC Music and the V&A as well as UAL's London College of Fashion and University College London.
Since the 2012 Olympics, Stratford has continued to develop, from hosting one of the best Olympic Games ever, to embarking on an ambitious regeneration programme. The success of this regeneration programme has brought more visitors and investment to the area than ever.
As a result of this vastly increased footfall, significant work is required to redevelop Stratford Station creating an opportunity to develop a scheme of work to not only increase station capacity but also support the existing and future, economic and socio-economic growth, as well as improve local connectivity and enhance the customers experience as a major, national transport interchange.
LLDC has identified a fantastic opportunity to address not just the immediate functional and operational areas of the station, but as a strategic transformational project for London and UK Plc. This can unlock new opportunities beyond the station and provide new public realm, investment and development opportunities.
