Who are we?

The Packhorse has been at this site in Affetside since the 15 th century, and this prestigious site, is one of the flagships within the estate. It has a wealth of history being particularly famous for its resident skull, reported to belong to the Early of Derby’s executioner. It has an excellent reputation for quality food drink and customer service. It holds a 70 seater indoor restaurant, a relaxed dining and drinking area within the rest of the pub, and further outdoor seating to enjoy the amazing views of the area. Walkers, dogs and families are all welcome at this site.

The role and you

Whether you work full time or part time, our customers are in your hands. Our kitchen teams work hard to ensure excellence is a habit. This role is integral in supporting the kitchen brigade with cleaning duties and where required basic preparation of food. You will be the kind of person who jumps in to help out to ensure service is never compromised, has excellent attention to detail and enjoys working to high standards.
