37.5 hrs per week

We are currently looking for an advice worker experienced in providing accommodation advice to offenders in the community. You will be required to assist offenders to gain suitable accommodation and offer advice on tenancy sustainment. You will also support them to prevent evictions and other housing related matters.

To be successful, you will have some housing advice experience to clients with support needs, including drug and alcohol related problems, mental health problems and a history of offending. You will also have the ability to cope with clients with multiple needs, who may display challenging behaviour. Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary, multi-agency team and to maintain effective relationships with external agencies, is also required.
