Chatsworth is a registered charity. Chatsworth House Trust was established in 1981 to look after the house, collections, garden, woodlands and park for the benefit of everyone.  Every penny of visitor admission income goes directly to the Trust. Chatsworth is also home to seventeen generations of the Devonshire family, starting with Bess of Hardwick in 1552.

Chatsworth plays an important role in the local community as a thriving cultural and educational destination, a nationally important historic landscape, and a working estate that operates with a mindful approach to the environment and sustainability.

About the role:

If you are passionate about Chatsworth and the heritage and hospitality sectors, and looking for a marketing executive role, this could be the ideal opportunity for you to join our marketing team.

As Print & Content Marketing Executive, you will contribute to the development and delivery of the Chatsworth marketing plan, and project manage a variety of marketing services. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your ability in this diverse and interesting role, working in partnership with colleagues from the marketing team and across the Chatsworth Estate.

Working with an external design agency, you will oversee content, design and production, including copywriting, of a variety of business critical aspects of Chatsworth’s marketing communications including leaflets, print adverts and promotional posters.

You will also assist with the management of content on the Chatsworth website, as well as third party affiliate websites to generate additional coverage of Chatsworth events and increase website traffic and ticket sales e.g. Visit Peak District & Derbyshire, Art Fund and Visit Britain.

Who we are looking for:

To succeed in this role you must be enthusiastic and passionate for our brand, and the heritage, arts and hospitality sectors.  You should be a team player, and will have experience of working in a fast paced marketing environment, or be able to demonstrate comparable and relevant skills.

Excellent writing and communication skills as well as impeccable spelling, grammar and copywriting, and the ability to convey key messages within an agreed house style, are integral to this role.

You will be capable of managing third party and internal relationships with proven project management expertise, and have outstanding attention to detail.  Excellent time management skills are also essential.

You will need to be able to work under pressure, and be adaptable so you can manage conflicting priorities in an effective way.
