Do you have the resilience, motivational and inspiring personality it takes to bring a rapid response to a vital service aimed at London’s rough sleepers? If the answer is yes, then the No Second Night Out (NSNO) scheme could be your ideal next move.
Managed by St Mungo’s on behalf of the Greater London Authority, NSNO focuses on helping people who are new to rough sleeping on the streets of London. Our challenge is to help them off the streets quickly and through our assessment hubs, help them find alternative accommodation so that they don’t have to sleep out for a second night.
In this post you will support the manager for the day-to-day development and management of the NSNO Assessment Hub and its service delivery; including meeting commissioner targets and milestones for the London No Second Night Out (NSNO) service. You will also support the Manager to lead, support, motivate and manage a team of specialist Assessment & Reconnection Workers, Trainees and Case coordinators, in a 24 hour assessment centre.
To be successful, you will have experience of supporting in the leading a service delivery team in either a supported housing, advice, homelessness, care or other relevant environment. You will also have experience of assessing client needs and options and of personalised case management. Knowledge of housing legislation and welfare benefits, is also required, as is the ability to supervise and motivate staff effectively and to promote good team work
In return, we offer a range of benefits including a pension scheme, voucher schemes and flexible working; to help you maintain a healthy work/life balance. We are also committed to providing our staff with a wide range of learning and development opportunities; in support of their personal and professional development.
