Nursery Assistant
Salary: Scale C - £18,562 - 18,933 per annum, plus an honorary allowance of £500 extra per annum
Permanent, full time (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)

Charles Darwin Nursery is situated within Charles Darwin Primary in the centre of Norwich, our nursery utilises a purposeful learning environment both indoor and outdoor. Like Charles Darwin Primary, we believe that our nursery students should have the facilities to be able to play and explore. Whilst we will be providing an educational environment that will prepare them for not only their next steps within education but also their future lives, we also believe that the first years of a child’s life are exciting and full of exploration.
The honorary allowance of £500 per annum will be awarded for taking a lead role with our under 2’s (infants up to 2 years old) in the Doves Area of the Nursery.
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, caring and ambitious Nursery assistant who is able to support in making sure that our children are safe, happy and stimulated. We are searching for someone who can also encourage children’s development and create a friendly and purposeful environment. This post is a unique opportunity to support the development of a new nursery working alongside an early years team that share your passion.
