We’re looking for a Front-End Developer to join our growing team. Within Lush Digital we’re leading the digital strategy and development for Lush globally, across many digital properties ranging from apps to websites. We’re a fast paced, dynamic team that are comfortable with rapid change and are happy talking about and demonstrating our work to the wider business and stakeholders.

As a Front-End Developer, you’ll work with our UI Designers to create beautiful interactions. It goes without saying that you’ll have an appreciation of what makes a design work with up-to-date knowledge of the latest innovations within CSS and JS.

You’ll be an experienced web app developer who has juggled multiple concerns and work streams; you’ll look at the bigger picture and come up with effective solutions. You may have led a team before and are comfortable taking a lead position in projects and presenting back to stakeholders.

You’ll identify the opportunities to reduce complexity and componentise code and be familiar working with APIs, build for failure and hostile conditions. The majority of the sites and applications you will be working with are built using React & Redux so you should have at least 2 years of demonstrable commercial experience with these technologies.

As a Front-End Developer you’ll share our passion for innovative digital design, technology and ethics in everything we do. You’ll work across borders with multi-lingual systems and understand the importance of accessibility. As part of your role you will be expected to collaborate with a wide variety of other teams and departments. So you will need strong communication skills and be able to work in a diverse team environment to produce high-quality applications and code under tight deadlines.

You’ll be well versed in using tools such as React, Redux, SCSS, Sketch, ES6, Styled Components, Node, webpack, npm, yarn, git and Jira.

As we pride ourselves on internal development, priority will be given to candidates who have an in depth knowledge of Lush coupled with the relevant experience and qualifications.
