We are looking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Literacy Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and creative team. The successful candidate will be working alongside the English and SEN teams to raise reading ages and bridge the literacy gap. They will be working with individuals and groups of children in the classroom, alongside the class teacher, or in their own intervention sessions. The ability to be flexible and work as part of a team is essential.

We are looking for candidates with commitment to the inclusion and success of all children. It’s essential that the successful candidate would have good literacy and numeracy skills. Experience in Accelerated Reader and phonics’ programmes would be preferable.
