This role provides administrative support to the Royal Museum’s Greenwich Images (), which sells and licenses images and footage for a wide range of internal and external commercial clients. The Images Sales team at Royal Museums Greenwich (RMG) are seeking an enthusiastic and committed volunteer to provide general administrative support to a busy team. This role sits within the wider Commerce division. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of licensing operations, as well as helping a national museum meet its commercial objectives.
Reporting to: Image Sales Team
This opportunity will include:
- Providing general administrative support
- Captioning and key-wording, uploading and publishing images in the ‘Capture’ image management system, and Print sales website
- Cataloguing our image stock on the print sales website
- Analysing sales data using Google Analytics and Shopify
- Training in using the museum’s ‘MIMSY’ Collections Management system
- Image editing work, and data cleaning on the digital image archive
- Permissions and rights clearance investigation work
