1 part-time (2 days) Clinical Psychologist or equivalent

An exciting career opportunity has arisen for a part time (2 days) enthusiastic and energetic Clinical Psychologist or equivalent to join Barnet’s Integrated Clinical Services (BICS), a CYP MH Service for CYP and families presenting with mild to moderate mental health difficulties in the community and within social care. We welcome newly qualified clinical psychologists applicants or equivalent. We are a strong, supportive, friendly multidisciplinary department and welcome for either a clinical psychologist or equivalent to join us.

BICS has four teams within and you will join the primary mental health team. You will provide high quality clinical assessments and evidence-based clinical individual, family and group interventions to children and young people presenting with moderate mental health difficulties in school, home and community based settings. You will work as part of an integrated multi-professional team within BICS. You will also provide wider support to professional systems, agency partners as appropriate, promoting whole system engagement in problem solving.

We value and encourage your continuing professional development and will support you with leadership from the Clinical Lead, line management and supervision from the Clinical Manager and/or Principal PMH clinician and peer support from the other colleagues in your team.

We offer excellent specialist CPD and training opportunities such as specialist clinical therapeutic approaches. The department has established strong working relationships with colleagues in Voluntary Sector, Schools, Early Help and Children’s Social Care. In addition, you will have ample opportunities to work with partner agencies such as Schools, Barnet’s Tier 3 NHS Specialist CAMHS, other community and voluntary services. We also have links with the London Clinical Psychology and Systemic Training Schemes.
