Who we are & what we are looking for

London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) is the organisation that the Mayor of London has set up to drive the regeneration of the area of east London around Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.?

This means that we do many different things, from building new homes, schools, universities, cultural institutions and business premises; to managing a beautiful Park and fantastic sporting venues; to running community events and sports programmes.?

We are looking for a talented individual to join our excellent Finance Team as a Finance Project Analyst, on a fixed-term contract of two years, to help support the successful delivery of the East Bank project. This will include working with colleagues both in finance and the East Bank project team (including Mace, LLDC’s Project Management Partner) to ensure that project-related income and expenditure is properly received/incurred. You will also help to ensure that robust financial monitoring processes and controls are maintained and to identify and lead on the resolution of any identified issues. In addition, the role will provide financial business partnering support for a range of other projects across the Development directorate, which include residential and large-scale infrastructure projects. You will support the production of timely and informative management accounting performance information that is used to update senior stakeholders regarding progress.

We are making Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the vibrant communities surrounding into an attractive and inspiring place where people come together to achieve great things; a place where local talent is celebrated and the benefits of regeneration can be shared by all; and a place that attracts investment, improving local lives as well as driving national economic growth.?

The London Legacy Development Corporation is also entering an exciting period with the construction of the East Bank project – a new powerhouse of culture, education, innovation and growth – which will create sites at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for Sadler’s Wells, BBC Music and the V&A as well as UAL's London College of Fashion and University College London.?

Is it for you?

You will have strong analytical skills and be able to demonstrate how you can take the initiative to problem solve complex issues. You will also have a proven track record of working independently and as part of a team to deliver high standard pieces of work under pressure and be able to demonstrate the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders in the business. You will bring your lived experience and understanding of the communities we serve, to ensure that public funds are utilised responsibly. We’d like you to have experience of working on large-scale projects but this is not essential. Given the nature of the work involved, you will be at least part AAT qualified (level 3) or studying towards CCAB/CIMA or equivalent professional accounting qualification (with at least one exam pass).

LLDC encourages professional development and would consider providing support for a part-qualified appointee to continue their professional studies.
