Family Support Worker

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, empathetic and resilient Family Support Worker to join our pastoral team team as soon as possible on a permanent basis.

At Hilton we have a strong pastoral team consisting of the SENCo, Family Support Worker, Learning Mentor and 2 positive play and nurture staff.

The role will include

• Supporting families and vulnerable children with social and emotional needs
• Planning and delivering bespoke programmes to individuals and small groups
• Making referrals to, signposting and liaising with outside agencies such as CAHMs, social care etc
• Attending and leading meetings as required
• Being a point of contact for parents who need additional support or advice
• Monitoring and addressing attendance

This is an evolving role so additional responsibilities may develop over time.
