You will join the External Relations team as a Marketing & Communications Apprentice in a leading independent co-educational boarding and day school, creating digital content for school social media channels, website, and newsletters and support the implementation of communications and marketing plans for the three Bedales Schools - Pre-prep, Prep and Senior. Key audiences include pupils, parents, staff, prospective pupils and parents, donors, alumni and school partner organisations.

Duties
You will take part in various tasks and projects where you can learn more about digital content creation, copywriting, photography, video production, social media platforms, website development, Search Engine Optimisation and email communications campaigns. You will also assist in the organisation and planning of events and exhibitions, developing your project management skills.
Alongside on-the-job training to provide high quality communications and marketing support, you will undertake the Digital Marketing Apprenticeship which includes a range of industry recognised professional qualifications.
A positive and collaborative communicator, you will have an interest in digital communications and social media, good attention to detail, be well organised, and have an ability to multitask and deliver to tight deadlines.
Hours of Work
This post works year round both during when the school is open and pupils are present and during school holiday and closure periods and you will be required to work 37.5 hours each week, Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00, with 30 minutes for lunch. Some occasional evening and weekend working will be required.
