As Stores person you will ensure that all equipment loading, unloading and yard movement of equipment owned or managed by the Company is carried out in a safe, efficient and economical manner in full accordance with Company procedures.

Key Accountabilities

·       Provide assistance to the storeman in his day-to-day tasks.

·       Assist storeman staff in displaying products in an easy-to-locate manner.

·       Assist and help technicians in locating their required items.

·       Inspect items and products for any breakages or damages.

·       Assist stores staff in managing inventory controls and stock checks.

·       Maintain the store area neat and clean

·       Implement best standards in providing customer services in a store setting.

·       Inspection and evaluation of returning and outgoing equipment and report issues.

·       Maintain ad clean and safe working area

·       Ensure compliance with defined health and safety policies/procedures and identify any area for improvement

·       Ensure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is used in accordance with Company health and safety policies

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for individuals with a positive, can-do attitude and you must be educated to secondary school level. Whilst it’s not essential it would be highly desirable if you have a forklift licence.
