Peer Mentoring Lecturer – Part Time

Hours: 19.5 per week, 52 weeks per year
Flexible Working: We welcome applications from those seeking flexible hours.
Salary: Up to £17,940 pro rata (£34,500 FTE) per annum
Reporting To: Education Manager

Milton Keynes College have an opportunity for a passionate individual who believes in the power of transforming lives through learning. If you can effectively engage with learners and can demonstrate excellent teaching skills, we would like you to be part of our education team based at HMP Isle of Wight.

In this role you will actively engage prison-based students by delivering creative classes helping to develop skills and knowledge that will help to support their peers whilst in custody. The qualification delivered is the Award in Mentoring Level 2 (NCFE). The successful applicant will be taking over a well-established course that has a scheme of work, lesson plans and resources already in place and help to maintain an excellent peer mentoring scheme within the prison.

As a successful tutor, you will truly inspire your learners and provide students with a positive learning experience.
