We are seeking a Development Designer on permanent, part-time basis to join the Development department.

You will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Development department’s in-house and external design projects from the initial briefing stage to production and delivery, both digitally and in print, to a high and consistent standard in collaboration with the V&A Design team. You will also use their design expertise to offer design and production advice to Development colleagues and delegate work according to the nature of the materials required.

The Development department raises money for the V&A’s capital projects, endowment, acquisitions, exhibitions programme and learning activities, and operates the Museum’s membership, patrons and events programmes. In 2018 the department raised over £22 million of the V&A’s income. To support these activities, the department has an increasingly large output of printed and digital designed materials.
