Our conformance team recruiting so we have an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable Conformance Specialist to join us.

Manage certification and re-certification projects with key international providers of test and certification services to ensure that product approvals are delivered in line with Apollo business development objectives. Provide support on industry legislation and assist the Head of Compliance with strategic goals and activities

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure approvals projects are correctly defined and executed so that they meet budget cost and timescales and are in line with customer expectations
  • Manage all aspects of compliance projects supporting the company's strategic initiatives (i.e. cost down projects, strategic sourcing, manufacturing site transfers, production process improvements and new projects.
  • Carry out research on compliance-related topics.
  • Build relationships with third-party test and certification suppliers.
  • Provide support in the certification projects being part of the NPD process.

 What you will need to succeed:

  • Experience (or suitable education) related to a Project Management role and/or experience of working in a regulatory environment (EMC, ATEX, Medical, Construction Products, Marine, Aerospace).
  • Be able to work with Microsoft packages such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to a good standard.
  • Work on personal and team objectives and help identify improvements to our processes.
  • Research and provide visibility to the business on regulatory changes.
  • Willingness to engage and understand the various departmental needs of a large volume manufacturer.
