Janitor - Thurrock Accommodation Services

£17,072 - £18,746 per annum (pro-rata)

Part-time: 30 hrs per week

We are looking to recruit a motivated and dedicated Janitor to join our team based within our two accommodation services in Thurrock. Your role will involve carrying out maintenance functions, such as plumbing, painting, woodwork, electrics, tiling and general gardening work and repairs.

Other duties include stock control, recording and reporting on all maintenance work completed and ensuring that the maintenance of the buildings comply with all health and safety policies.

The successful candidate will have experience and proven ability in basic maintenance skills, an understanding of health and safety issues and will be able to work in a supportive environment with clients who, at times, may display challenging behaviour.
