Our Growth & Corporate Services is a dynamic and diverse directorate driving forward a wide range of innovations from large scale regeneration and housing to customer services and corporate reporting and risk management. As part of the Strategy, Communications and Engagement team you’ll be integral to delivering priorities and shaping the council’s future direction. You’ll be working with the council team and directly with local residents to co-create and co-design solutions for the future.

We're looking for a Consultation & Research Data officer. Our Consultation and Engagement Strategy and Community Participation Strategy lays out the need for more meaningful engagement with residents, and you will be part of the team that makes this happen. You will be confident with handling both qualitative and quantitative primary research data and lead on the creation and management of a groundbreaking and representative Citizens’ Panel for Barnet.

We want someone who has a good understanding of different ways to engage diverse groups of people. This person will work alongside the Consultation & Research Manager to design a consultation and engagement plan for the Citizens’ Panel and Engage Barnet. Your analysing and reporting of data will be robust and reliable, and you will have a strong understanding of the statutory, regulatory, quality and ethical frameworks and issues underpinning excellent research & consultation projects.
