Job Title: Work Based Learning Quality Officer
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £29,791 - £31,774 per annum
Location: Cardiff and Vale College
Cardiff and Vale College are looking for a Work Based Learning Quality Officer based within our Barry Campus but with the expectation to cover other campuses as and when needed.
The successful candidates for the posts will be primarily responsible for managing the needs of Providers in the QSA to ensure excellent attainment rates and a consistent approach to quality management and learner experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Interpret audit date to identify lines of enquiry and formulate plans for improvement;
- Meet with QSA providers regularly to ensure low risk ratings are achieved and monitor progress within the QDP and support to improve performance management;
- To support completion of the annual QSA SAR and development and monitoring of QSA QDP;
- To manage the Quality Impact Observation process including standardisation, training and moderation;
- To identify areas of best practice to share across the QSA to support continuous improvement;
- Ensure provision across the QSA is Estyn ready at all times;
- To monitor the quality of Induction processes across the QSA;
- To promote Information Security and support the retention of ISO 27001;
- To co-ordinate, design, deliver/facilitate training for QSA staff and monitor and report on the impact of training;
- Promote and support cross cutting themes across the QSA
The successful candidate will be educated to ‘A’ level or equivalent within the sector and have excellent knowledge of work based learning quality compliance.
