Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale F: £26,421 - £28,770 per annum

Working Weeks: 52 weeks

Inspiration Trust Central Services have an exciting opportunity for a reliable, dynamic and responsible person to work as a Level 2 Technician to provide installation, maintenance development and administrative support for the Trust’s IT resources.

The main responsibility will be to be the first point of contact for IT Support of incidents, standard requests and initial problem management for schools across the Trust, where school-based technicians are unable to resolve and should be able to manage expectations when faced with unidentified faults. The Technician should take pride in responding quickly and effectively to all support requirements and take an open approach to help everyone get the best out of the Trust’s IT Systems. As a technician in a multi-academy trust, liaison with staff in similar roles across the Trust is to be expected.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • GCSEs/A Level/Degree
  • Prior experience within a first or second-line technical product or service focused support role
  • Knowledge of Windows 10/11, IOS and ChromeOS
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (desktop and cloud based)
  • Ability to install and manage computer hardware and peripherals in an education focused environment
  • Fault-finding skills and the ability to problem solve within a technical environment

You will be able to establish good relationships with all teaching staff, support staff and pupils, and provide ongoing technical support to resolve problems in a timely and effective manner. You will have knowledge and experience in supporting Windows 10/11, Office365, Chrome, G-Suite and IOS as well as key business applications.
