‘Inspired by Mary’s love for God’

The Directors of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a practising Catholic to the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) in our high performing Catholic MAT. This is a new role and comes as the Trust enters an exciting point in its development, with 15 Catholic schools from the Lincolnshire area of the Diocese of Nottingham joining the existing 21 Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Catholic schools in the Our Lady of Lourdes CMAT family. From September 2022 our Trust will comprise 36 schools (30 primary and 6 secondary).

Working alongside the Board of Directors, the CEO, the central team and our wonderful Headteachers, you will provide exceptional strategic direction and leadership to ensure that we achieve our vision of ‘Outstanding Catholic Education for All’.  You will be a witness to Jesus Christ and will exemplify the values and ethos of the Trust in every aspect of your work. You will have a clear philosophy for Catholic Education and an unwavering commitment to ensuring that every young person within our schools can make the most of their unique God-given talents and fulfil their individual potential. You will join a strong, experienced, supportive and innovative executive team and will take the strategic lead on the quality of education within the Trust.

We would expect you to have a proven track record of outstanding leadership in a school or other education setting and to be an excellent communicator, who can inspire others to be the best they can. You will have a developed understanding of modern educational thinking, have the skills to lead organisational change and develop effective partnership working.

We see all roles in the Trust as opportunities to lead and to learn. This role will be an ideal opportunity for a highly talented and ambitious leader to develop their skills and understanding across all areas of a large Multi-Academy Trust.

This is a reserved post which means that applicants must be practising Catholics.
