About Directorate

The aim of the Family Service is to ensure that all children and young people in Barnet achieve the best possible outcomes and to enable them to become successful adults, especially our most vulnerable children. They should be supported by high quality, integrated and inclusive services that identify additional support needs early, are accessible, responsive and affordable for the individual child and their family.

About the role

If so, this new opportunity could be for you!  This is a new and exciting role supporting and deputising for the Conference and Review Support Manager.
We are looking for someone to support our busy and friendly administrative team working to deliver high quality business functions to the Safeguarding Service.

About you

  • Experience of supporting people
  • Experience of excellent service delivery with an emphasis on timeliness, accuracy, and data protection.
  • Ability to support social work delivery by providing good quality minutes and action logs for meetings.
  • Strong IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
  • Strong organisational skills to oversee scheduling and arranging of Safeguarding meetings.
  • Experience of diary management
  • An ability to communicate effectively with other multi-agency professionals including the police, schools and health
  • Some experience of using databases and navigating through them
  • Solution focused when faced with administrative queries
  • Attention to detail and ability to have a flexible approach to working
