THE ROLE
The Carbon Projects Officer will support the project management of Trust estate and third-party carbon code projects by supporting departments including Land & Property and Estate & Woodland Outreach, in order to deliver carbon on the ground and meet long term carbon code requirements.

The role will include supporting the Carbon Projects Manager by monitoring and evaluation of projects, visiting sites and communicating our carbon approach to internal and external audiences.

This is a 3-year Fixed Term Contract.

THE CANDIDATE
With basic knowledge or experience of working within woodland creation for carbon outcomes, you’ll have an understanding of woodland creation and site surveys, grant mechanisms and the Woodland Carbon Code.

You’ll be analytical, self-motivated and proactive and be able to build and nurture effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in order to deliver on multiple projects.
