We continue to go from strength to strength and are now in a position to recruit a highly motivated and dedicated Non-Executive Director to join the team based in our Ipswich Office. Board meetings will be held quarterly, with expected workload being up to 10 days over the year.

Job Description

• To assist the board in operating in line with the strategic vision
• To assist the board in being effective in discussing and setting the organisations strategic direction
• To offer guidance, support, expertise and an objective perspective on matters relating to the Travel Industry
• To be part of specialist sub-groups as appropriate, especially those in line with your expertise
• To play a key part in the decision-making process on strategic and governance issues
• To offer advice and guidance in a consultative capacity to the board and executives as required to ensure the organisation delivers high levels of performance

The Successful Applicant

• You will either currently hold an existing Non-Executive Director position, or be seeking your first NED appointment, in either case you will have extensive experience and track record gained from the travel, tourism, leisure or hospitality sectors,
• You will be able to work with the board to deliver a strategy that will enable the organisation to continue to deliver excellent personal service and world class visitor experiences.
• You will be collaborative, hands-on with strong decision making skills with the ability to facilitate focused and relevant discussions.
• You will have experience of setting and implementing corporate strategy with strong all round commercial acumen.
