Your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead, manage and motivate the team. To manage, lead and develop direct reports in line with Company policies and procedures.
- Management of our Logistics Providers and Consultants (Including Contracts and operational Agreements)
- Own Export / Import compliance including our Approved Economic Operator (AEO) status
- Support the ERP implementation team with the rollout of the new WMS package including the implementation of RF technology
- Ensure that all material movements (both component & finished goods) are transacted on the AX system on time and accurately.
- Instilling a culture of high customer service for both supplying components to production and the shipment of the finished product to customers.
What you will need to succeed:
- Proven Warehouse & Logistics Manager experience with sound knowledge of the primary inventory management processes such as PI (perpetual inventory), FIFO, Distribution and Logistics, Freight Forwarding etc.
- Strong knowledge/experience of global logistics
- Exceptional analytical skills when managing complexity and multiple variables
- Proven skills in working with the organisation in the resolution of issues and the delivery process improvements.
