Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale C: £8,598 to £8,741 pro-rata per annum (£22,737 - £23,114 per annum full time/full year equivalent)
Fixed Term: until 31st August 2025
Part Time: 16 hours per week / 5 days from the start of lunch time to the end of the school day
Working Weeks: Term Time plus 1 week (39 weeks)
Stradbroke Primary Academy are looking for an enthusiastic, and inspiring Enhanced Provision Classroom Assistant to join our team. You will be an inspirational practitioner who is passionate about raising achievement through motivating and inspiring students, who will also contribute to the vision and values of the school.
The role involves supporting children in the classroom and small group interventions to support children to make accelerated progress. You should be able to work effectively as part of a team, following the direction of the teachers as well as working under your own initiative.

The main responsibility of this role will be:
- To work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff.
- To work within the overall ethos of the Academy.
- To undertake care and learning programmes and activities to support individuals or groups of pupils, including more specialised support for those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or EAL (English as an Additional Language).
- To enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good numeracy/literacy skills
- Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age
- Ability to use ICT effectively to support learning
- Ability to evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities
- Ability to relate well to children and adults
- Experience of teaching intervention groups
